Please welcome Kylene Spanbauer as Miss Harbor Cities 2022. During the 2022 Miss Harbor Cities competition, Kylene was chosen by her fellow candidates to receive the Spirit of Miss America Award and was selected as the People’s Choice Award winner. She also received the Ken Morrall Style Award along with two fellow candidates. 

Kylene was previously involved in the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen program when she was crowned Miss Wisconsin’s Outstanding Teen 2016, where she was also awarded the Patriotism Reigns scholarship. At the 2017 Miss America’s Outstanding Teen competition she won a preliminary talent award and was a top 11 finalist.

Kylene was also the feature twirler at the University of Iowa – UI’s Golden Girl!

As a titleholder in the Miss America Organization, Kylene strives to promote her initiative, No Means No.

Kylene competed for the job of Miss Wisconsin at the 2022 Miss Wisconsin competition in June 2022, and placed 1st Runner up to Miss Wisconsin Grace Stanke. Her talent was a dance and baton twirling routine to “I Need a Hero” by Jennifer Saunders.

When Grace Stanke (MHCOTeen 2017 & Miss Wisconsin 2022) won Miss America, Kylene accepted the job of Miss Wisconsin 2022!
